The subwoofer and cubes are in okay condition and sound as they did when new. I have the earlier Lifestyle system in my media/theatre room and these sound and look identical as Bose has not changed their speakers through the Lifestyle system for quite some time. Cosmetically, you may want to find some newer grills as one of them does not sit on the speaker well, but mine were on bookshelves and used for music listening only so were out of sight and worked perfectly. Also as most of these systems end up, the illumination bulb needs replacing if chose to do that, but it didn't bother me as you use the remote 90% of the time.
